Innovative technologies for constructing inverted roofs with exploitable surface coating

The article addresses current challenges in ensuring the durability, energy efficiency and reliability of inverted roofs with an exploitable surface coating. The advantages and drawbacks of conventional structural and technological solutions are analyzed. The necessity of implementing innovative approaches, which include the use of multifunctional insulation and 3D printing of supported inverted roof components, is substantiated. Attention is given to the integration of digital technologies at all stages of the building’s life cycle with such a roof: from pre-project investigations and construction installation works to the monitoring of its technical condition during operation phase. A comprehensive methodology for developing the design structural and technological solutions for inverted roof systems is proposed, which enhances energy efficiency and minimizes operational costs.
